Our story
Kelani is much more than an eyewear brand.
It's a manifesto of style and conscience. Born in Switzerland in 2022, Kelani breaks the rules of eco-responsibility: stylish, strong, and durable eyewear, designed for those who want to make an impact—without compromising on their style.
It all started with Fripsquare , our beloved vintage store launched in 2020. Very quickly, we were asked for vintage glasses : pretty, solid, scratch-free, with style... And then, we understood. Finding second-hand glasses in good condition was a difficult mission. So we looked for eco-responsible brands, but bamboo glasses didn't really appeal to us. So, we created Kelani. A mix of all that, while respecting our values.
Glasses that change everything
At Kelani, each pair is designed from recycled materials, to transform waste into a fashionable accessory . We call it: from waste to wow .

Our universe
Kelani is vintage 70s fashion , twisted with a 2000s touch.
It's the DNA of a reimagined fast fashion : film visuals, 3D images, polished branding... but without overproduction or ecological disaster.
Together, we are a community that cares . That chooses what it wears. That looks to the future with style and awareness.
The name? A first name I dreamed of giving to my daughters.
The vision? A powerful alternative to the disposable accessories of fast fashion.
The energy? That of an entrepreneur who does everything from A to Z, from branding to product selection.
And the emotion? Immense, every time I see someone wearing a pair of Kelani in the street.

Where to find us?
Over the past few years, we've been fortunate enough to be invited to numerous events, such as Paleo and other designer markets. Today, we sell mainly online, but all of our eyewear is also on display in our Fripsquare boutique, located in the Lausanne station district. A café-thrift store, you can also pick up your parcel for free if you order online.
